Frequently Asked Questions

Introducing our new webbing!

If you recently noticed that webbing we are using is different, you are correct.  At the end of March 2023, we began making our products with a more premium and luxurious webbing.  You will find that it is softer, smoother, and stronger than the previous webbing and makes the products even more enjoyable to use!

When should I expect my order to be shipped?

Most webbing items will ship out within 5-7 business days.  Custom items out of neoprene and darlex can take 8-10 days to ship out.  Measurements are often needed to make products, so every item is made after the order has been created.  Please give consideration during the holiday season when there is a large increase in orders.  Allow an extra 2-3 days for shipment.

How will my package be shipped?

Your package will be shipped via USPS.  Most orders are shipped out with Priority Mail, which will arrive in 1-3 business days.  Expedited options are available at checkout.

Is packaging discreet?

Yes.  Your order will ship in either a plain white box or plain white mailer.  The return address will say BW LLC.  If your item is being shipped internationally, it will have a customs description.  The description will say “Webbing Straps”.  Your privacy is very important to us!  If you are concerned about receiving the package directly (to your hands), please contact us and let us know that you would like to "sign for package".  If you do this, the package will not be delivered to your residence unless someone is there to sign for it.

International Shipping

International shipping, like shipping in the United States, is shipped through USPS.  Once the package reaches the destination country, USPS will hand the package off to a local delivery service.  Please note, at this point the tracking will say "Delivered" - this simply means that USPS has finished their portion of the delivery and the local service has taken over - it does not mean that the package has necessarily been delivered.

Additionally, international shipping may be subject to customs fees.  Customer is responsible for knowing what fees may be applied in their country and is also responsible for paying any of said fees.

Finally, if you are shipping internationally, it is highly recommended that you purchase DHL shipping, Priority Mail International, or Priority Mail Express International.  These options provide tracking all the way to the destination.  First Class International mail does not offer this feature and Bondage Webbing will not be held responsible for products that are lost when shipped using this method.

What will my billing statement say on my credit card?

The billing statement will say BW LLC.

How is sizing figured?

All webbing harnesses from Bondage Webbing are made to be adjustable so that they can fit different sized individuals.  Once you have sized the harness correctly, you will have excess webbing left over.  If you are planning on using the harness for just one individual, the webbing can be trimmed off by simply cutting with a pair of scissors and then sealing the end with a lighter, so that it does not fray.

Certain items will require measurements from the customer.  If that is the case, Bondage Webbing will contact the customer to request these measurements after the purchase is made.

*Leotard straitjackets will specifically request a size.  See sizing chart within link.

What is Darlex?

Darlex is a three-layer material made up of two layers of spandex bonded together with a layer of synthetic rubber between. This fabric is hypoallergenic, comfortable, and machine washable. Darlex resists wind and water, it is less heat transparent than spandex, but is more heat transparent than canvas or leather, and will not pool sweat like latex.

What is Neoprene?

The neoprene that is used at Bondage Webbing is 3mm thick and the same sort of material that you would see being used for wetsuits.  It has a soft and “spongey” feel to it, which makes it great for gags, padding straps, blindfolds, and an assortment of other items.

Neoprene vs. Darlex

Both of these fabrics are excellent options for any of the gear.  They are equally durable and comfortable.  Based on the descriptions above, we hope that you can make a decision : )

What Credit Cards do you accept?
